I was originally hired in April of 2018 and started doing peer support part-time in August of 2018. I took a hiatus during the latter part of the covid-19 pandemic and came back July 18, 2023 as a certified Mental Health peer recovery supporter for seniors.
Schedule flexibility and Feeling that I have a purpose to make a difference in the lives of others by listening, encouraging and sharing my strength, hope and experience with my own recovery.
I'm with my family & friends, traveling, gardening, cooking or exercising in a Silver Sneakers class.
